Joseph Gallagher focuses his practice on commercial litigation and disputes involving the financial services industry. He has helped counsel individuals and corporations alike in a wide range of civil lawsuits in state and federal courts, in confidential arbitration, and in regulatory matters. He has particular experience with the anti-money laundering (AML) issues facing financial institutions.
Prior to joining Harris, St. Laurent & Chaudhry, Mr. Gallagher practiced at leading global law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Williams College in 2003, and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2008. While at Georgetown, he was a Senior Articles Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and the Managing Director of the school’s Barristers’ Council.
Mr. Gallagher serves as the firm’s counsel.
Mr. Gallagher is admitted to the bar of New York.
