Kristin Olson focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, government enforcement, and criminal defense. She is a zealous advocate for her clients, and takes a creative and practical problem-solving approach to complex issues. She is dedicated to finding the best results for her clients, while protecting their interests.
Ms. Olson has represented businesses, including global financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies, and individuals in a wide variety of disputes in state and federal courts, in confidential arbitration, and in mediation. She has also helped counsel clients in investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory agencies, and in internal investigations.
Prior to joining Harris, St. Laurent & Chaudhry, Ms. Olson practiced at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and clerked in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she served on the Columbia Law Review and was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She earned a B. A., magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
Ms. Olson is admitted to the bars of New York, Washington, D.C., and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
